im looking for this solution as well.
ideally a tracking pixel would do the job.
but i have a merchant that doesnt use directtrack(no subid)
i would have access to their google analytics/hitslink data to see if conversions are happening.
how else can i track conversions w/o subids? would there be code to place on the merchant "thankyou page" that would tell Googleanlaytics to use the random number that P202 is creating for the subid?

Another question I would like answered :)
I have been running a successful campaign for a while. But the affiliate provider does not run subids, so I cant really know which of my keywords are making all the sales :(

This is not very useful.
Could you imagine that others may want to know the answer to that too? It's a public forum for a reason...
In the particular case above, it didn't apply in the same way everyone else is asking about. In the case scenario above, they were trying to get the link to work without the subids interfering and the basis of the solution was to put a hash instead of a subid syntax to avoid the subid from routing traffic to a non-existing page.
For what you guys are referring to, you would need to do a post back such as pixel tracking for example to get that done. It isn't 100% accurate but it's about as close as you'll get to that sort of tracking. Right now 202 doesn't have pixel tracking in place but you guys are more than welcome to use any other pixel tracking that is available for the non-subid networks until we release a newer update in the future.

i guess i need to know the internals of how subid works. Ive seen the subid video, here but that wont answer my question.
if googles free tools(google conversions; GC) can track conversions w/o subid's, im thinking it wouldnt be too hard for P202 to incorporate whatever GC is doing.
is there a script/hack that we can force google to create a (pseudo)subid for each conversion or something and then later do the update subid function in P202?

I'm not really sure what you mean. The google pixel tracking is base on a post back feed and that isn't exactly 100% accurate but it's as close as you'll get right now until we have time to code something that'll work along those lines. Unfortunately we're tied up in trying to roll out that new tracking system first so it won't be till sometime after that.
